GTG Producer Agreement & Revenue Share Terms

Last updated: November 11th 2025

This page describes the terms that apply when you sign up as a producer in the Guide To Go (GTG) Creator Network. By creating an account, submitting content or publishing routes, you agree to the terms below.

1. GTG Producer Agreement

1.1 Parties

This Producer Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between you (“Producer”) and Guide To Go AS (“GTG”). By creating a producer account, submitting content, or publishing routes in the GTG platform, you agree to this Agreement.

1.2 Role of the Producer

A Producer is an independent creator responsible for producing and uploading content such as texts, voiceovers, translations, images, geofences and routes (“Content”) to the GTG Publisher platform. The Producer is not an employee, partner, or agent of GTG. This Agreement does not create an employment, agency or joint-venture relationship.

1.3 Ownership and Licence

Producer ownership
You retain ownership of the original text, audio and media that you create.

Licence to GTG
By publishing Content through GTG, you grant GTG a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-bearing licence to:

  • host, store, modify, translate, and distribute your Content,
  • make it available through the GTG mobile app, web app and related platforms,
  • advertise, market or promote the Content, and
  • sublicense the Content to customers, travellers and enterprise clients.

This licence lasts as long as your Content is published on our platform. You may request removal of your Content at any time, and GTG may remove Content that violates this Agreement or our quality standards.

1.4 Quality Standards

All published routes must meet GTG’s minimum quality requirements, including:

  • factual accuracy and clear sourcing where relevant,
  • clear and engaging storytelling,
  • correct and safe geofence placement,
  • appropriate length and structure,
  • professional audio quality (AI or human), and
  • legal right to use all included media.

GTG may request changes or reject Content until it meets these standards.

1.5 Legal Compliance and Responsibility

The Producer is responsible for ensuring that:

  • all media used (photos, music, narration, etc.) is legally licensed for the purpose,
  • no copyrighted material is used without permission,
  • no harmful, hateful, discriminatory or defamatory content is included,
  • translations are appropriate and not misleading, and
  • Content does not violate any local laws or the rights of any third party.

Producers are responsible for any claims, losses or damages arising from their own Content.

1.6 Projects for Enterprise Customers

GTG may invite Producers to create Content for business customers such as destinations, transport companies, museums or other organisations (“Enterprise Projects”). These projects:

  • are optional for the Producer,
  • are paid directly by GTG according to an agreed rate,
  • do not grant the Producer the right to bypass GTG and work directly with the customer, and
  • may be covered by additional written terms for that specific project.

1.7 Anti-Circumvention

The Producer agrees not to:

  • contact, solicit or work directly with GTG enterprise customers for similar services outside the GTG platform,
  • offer competing services to GTG clients based on information gained through GTG, or
  • attempt to move GTG clients to another platform or private arrangement.

This restriction applies for 24 months after the Producer’s last Enterprise Project or direct introduction to that client via GTG. Any breach may result in termination of the account and withholding of unpaid revenue until the matter is resolved.

1.8 Payment Information and Taxes

Producers must provide accurate and up-to-date payment details (such as bank account, PayPal or other approved methods). Producers are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes, duties or fees required in their own country or jurisdiction.

1.9 Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by written notice or by closing the producer account. Upon termination:

  • GTG may keep your Content online for up to 60 days to complete any ongoing sales or obligations,
  • any outstanding earnings will be calculated and paid out in the normal cycle, and
  • materials created specifically for Enterprise Projects must be handled according to the project agreement.

1.10 Changes to this Agreement

GTG may update this Agreement from time to time. Producers will be notified of material changes. If you continue to use the platform after changes take effect, you are deemed to have accepted the updated terms.

1.11 Acceptance

By signing up as a producer, submitting Content, or clicking “I agree” in a sign-up form, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Producer Agreement.

2. Revenue Share Terms

2.1 Earnings Model

For paid consumer downloads, in-app purchases or other route unlocks in the GTG app, Producers earn 50% of net revenue attributable to their Content.

2.2 Definition of Net Revenue

“Net revenue” means:

Gross revenue received from end users
minus app store/platform fees (Apple, Google or similar)
minus VAT or comparable sales taxes (if applicable).

This is the amount that forms the basis for the Producer’s 50% share.

2.3 Payouts

  • Payouts are made on a regular schedule (normally quarterly) once a minimum payout threshold of EUR 500 is reached.
  • GTG may group small amounts into the next payout period for efficiency.
  • Producers are responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion fees or similar costs charged by their payment provider.

2.4 Refunds and Chargebacks

If an end user receives a refund, chargeback or reversal, GTG may deduct the Producer’s share of that transaction from current or future payouts.

2.5 Public Availability and Quality

Content must be approved by GTG and remain published publicly in the GTG app in order to generate revenue. If Content is removed, hidden or fails to meet ongoing quality or legal requirements, it may stop generating revenue and be taken offline.

2.6 Multiple Contributors

If a route is created by more than one Producer, the creators are responsible for agreeing between themselves how earnings should be split. They must provide GTG with a clear split (for example 70% / 30%). GTG will pay according to the split registered but does not mediate disputes between collaborators.

2.7 Fraud, Abuse or Manipulation

Any attempt to artificially inflate downloads, listens, purchases or other usage (for example through bots, fake accounts or coordinated downloads) is strictly prohibited. GTG may:

  • withhold or reverse earnings related to fraudulent activity,
  • suspend or terminate producer accounts, and
  • take further action if necessary.

2.8 Changes to Revenue Share Terms

GTG may adjust the revenue share model in the future to reflect changes in app store fees, tax regulations, or business structure. Producers will be notified of any material changes. Changes will apply prospectively and will not affect revenue already earned.

2.9 Acceptance

By signing up as a producer, creating Content or clicking “I agree” in a sign-up form, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Revenue Share Terms.
